Teenage winger Maxime Lestienne has been invited for a trial by Everton, according to his current club Excelsior Mouscron.
The coveted 17-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in Belgian football and has been invited for a two-day trial by the Toffees.
PSV Eindhoven and Anderlecht have both been linked with moves for Lestienne following his rise to prominence in the Jupiler Pro League.
But despite Everton's interest, current Mouscron manager Hans Galje has pledged to fight to keep hold of his rising star.
"I know Lestienne has been asked to come and visit Everton for a couple of days but they can take a place in the waiting room," he said.
"There is an incredible amount of clubs interested in this guy.
"I understand Maxime won't leave Mouscron soon."
